Commonwealth Government COVID-19 Response Inquiry
There is an Independent Inquiry happening to look at the Commonwealth Government’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. It will make recommendations to improve how the government responds to any future pandemics.
We made a submission to the Inquiry. We talked about how COVID-19 pandemic affected people with an intellectual disability and their families in unique ways. We made recommendations about how the government can be better prepared to support the needs of our community right now and during any future pandemics.
