Disability Employment Services (DES) Quality Ratings System
Earlier this year, the Department of Social Services (DSS) made a new Disability Employment Serivces (DES) Quality Framework.
We made a submission to their consultation about the new DES Quality Framework.
As part of the DES Quality Framework, DSS are also making changes to the Quality Ratings System. This is a way to understand the quality of different DES providers and give information about how well they are performing.
We made a submission to DSS about the changes to the Quality Ratings System. We gave feedback talking about how people with an intellectual disability need to be included in the process of making the Quality Ratings System.
