The National Oral Health Plan is a plan by the Australian Government to improve oral health for all Australians.
The Government is now making a new National Oral Health Plan for 2025-2034.
The National Centre of Excellence in Intellectual Disability Health (the Centre) made a submission to the Government. The submission has recommendations for how to make sure the new National Oral Health Plan makes better oral health outcomes for people with an intellectual disability.
You can read the Centre’s submission here.
We agree with the Centre’s submission. We wrote a letter of support about what we have heard from our community about access to oral health and why the Centre’s recommendations are important.
