Aged Care Bill 2024

Inclusion Australia made a submission to the Senate Standing Committee on Community Affairs about the provisions of the Aged Care Bill 2024.

We wrote this letter in support of the submission by Young People in Nursing Homes National Alliance (YPINHNA) Ltd. We agree with their recommendations that people under age 65 who live in residential aged care to access disability services should have their rights protected and that residential aged care is not an acceptable alternative to supported independent living.
