The Government is making two new plans to make Disability services safer and better quality. These are called the:
- Disability Support Quality and Safeguarding Framework, and the
- Disability Support Ecosystem Safeguarding Strategy.
These plans are meant to:
- Set clear rules about how disability supports should work
- Make services safer and better quality
- Help people with disability understand their rights
- Make safeguards stronger and work better together.
The Government asked the disability community what they think about these plans.
