Evidence Advisory Committee Round 3 Consultation

The NDIS Review recommended creating an Evidence Advisory Committee (EAC).

The EAC gives the government independent advice, based on the best available evidence, about which supports in the NDIS are safe, effective, good quality and value for money.

The EAC asked for feedback from the community about how people are using these supports:

  • Early intensive behavioural interventions
  • Positive behaviour support for older children and adults
  • Robot-assisted gait training
  • Social skills training as a disability support for children and young people

We made a submission to the EAC about positive behaviour support for older children and adults.

We asked Inclusion Australia’s Complex Needs Family Reference Group what they think about positive behaviour support. We used their ideas to make this submission.
