The Australian Government is looking at the definition of a NDIS provider. This is to make sure the definition is accurate and includes all providers who need to be registered with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission in the future.
Inclusion Australia made a submission to the Government. We talked about what the definition must be clear about to make sure registration and regulation improves safety, quality and accountability across the NDIS. We believe registration is important and that the registration system must be designed carefully to make sure it does not leave anyone worse off, including people who use self-directed supports like a service-for-one.
