The NDIS Review recommended creating an Evidence Advisory Committee (EAC).
The EAC gives the government independent advice, based on the best available evidence, about which supports in the NDIS are safe, effective, good quality and value for money.
The EAC asked for feedback from the community about how people are using these supports:
- Assistive passive trainers
- Assistance animals for Autistic people or people with intellectual disability
- Psychiatric assistance dogs
- Seizure alert dogs
- Exercise physiology
- Smart home appliances (for cooking, cleaning or gardening)
