The National Advocacy Collective (NAC) General Foundational Supports
The National Advocacy Collective (NAC) is a group of people across Australia who support the rights of parents with an intellectual disability. Inclusion Australia supports the group to do their work in different ways.
We know that parents with an intellectual disability face many barriers to accessing parenting support. This means that many parents with an intellectual disability face discrimination and human rights violations.
The NACÂ made a submission to DSS about why General Foundational Supports are important for parents with an intellectual disability.
