The National Advocacy Collective (NAC) is a group of people across Australia who support the rights of parents with an intellectual disability. Inclusion Australia supports the group to do their work in different ways.
Parents with an intellectual disability face many barriers to accessing parenting support. Many parents with an intellectual disability face discrimination and human rights violations.
The NAC made a submission to Department of Social Services (DSS) about the NDIS Supports Rule. The submission says parenting supports need to be included in the NDIS.
