Open Employment and the Polished Pathway

In August 2022, Inclusion Australia was invited to the NDIS Jobs and Skills Summit in Canberra.

The event was hosted by Minister for the National Disability Insurance Scheme, Bill Shorten.

Our CEO Catherine McAlpine attended the Summit with disability advocates Gavin Burner from SACID and Greg Tucker from VALID.

Greg and Gavin shared their experiences of working in Australian Disability Enterprises (ADEs).

Catherine was also invited to deliver a provocation about the employment of people with an intellectual disability.
