The job of the Australian National Audit Office (ANAO) is to check that the government is doing a good job. They read reports and talk to people to understand if services are working well and money is being spent properly.
The ANAO wants to know if the government is doing a good job running services for people who need them. They want to know if the services are safe, fair and available.
They were interested in finding this out about services for people with a disability, older people and children.
